About Vedratic
Vedratic is a small software lab by the team behind Momusa. We build games, apps and tools of our own, and write down what we learn doing it.
Who we are
Joel Sala Ramos
Product, business and functional design
Joel is co-founder, COO and CPO of Momusa, and works from the Barcelona area. At Vedratic he decides what each project should do and how it should behave for the person using it, and he writes the articles about product, planning and money.
LinkedInFrancisco Muñoz Cuevas
Engineering and architecture
Fran is co-founder, CEO and CTO of Momusa, and a software engineer based in Ibiza. At Vedratic he is responsible for how the projects are built: how each project stores its data, how it is structured and how it ships. He writes the technical articles.
LinkedInÀlex Moll
Marketing and communications
Àlex is co-founder, CMO and CCO of Momusa, and works from Mallorca. He has spent more than ten years in corporate communications, in both the public and private sectors. At Vedratic he looks after how the projects are presented, and he will sign his own articles here too.
Vedratic and Momusa
Momusa is a small company that designs and builds apps and digital products, with a focus on the communities it works in. The three of us founded it, and we work between Ibiza, Mallorca and the Barcelona area.
Vedratic is where we put the projects that are not client work: tools we wanted for ourselves, and ideas we wanted to try in a real product rather than in a prototype. It has its own name so these experiments don't get mixed up with Momusa's products, but the people are the same. Fran is the legal owner of this site (see the legal notice), and email goes to the Momusa support address.
How we pick projects
A project belongs here if we want it for ourselves, it is small enough for the three of us to build and maintain alongside our work at Momusa, and we can explain honestly what it does and what it doesn't. It can be a game, an app or a tool, and it doesn't have to run in a browser.
The projects published so far happen to share a pattern: they run in the browser, need no account and keep your data on your device. That is where we started, not a rule for everything that comes next. When a project works differently, its page will say how.
If a project stops making sense, because we no longer use it or because it costs more to keep up than it gives back, we will say so on its page instead of letting it go stale quietly. For the current ones, your data would not go with it: it lives on your device, and Andamio and Ahorreo export it to files you keep.
Projects
- Globdrop A geography game. Place cities, landmarks and fictional islands on a map, or name flags against the clock. 16 scenarios, free to play, with ads.
- Andamio A Gantt editor that lives in your browser. Plans are saved on your device and export to JSON, Mermaid and SVG.
- Ahorreo Personal finance built from the statements your bank already gives you. Files are read and stored on your device; there is no server behind it.
- Chronotopia Places rebuilt in 3D, year by year: Barcelona–El Prat, Ibiza and Palma de Mallorca airports from their first fields to the works planned for the 2030s, with the sources for every stage.
- Tools Small calculators that grew out of our own projects: task buffers with PERT, how much a map projection distorts area and shape, and a mortgage with your share of it.
How the site is paid for
Nothing on Vedratic is for sale: there are no paid plans and no accounts. The blog, the calculators and the Globdrop guides show Google AdSense ads, and so does Globdrop itself, inside the game. Andamio and Ahorreo have no ads, Chronotopia only links to Momusa and Sindria, the companies behind us, and the project pages on this site have no ads either. What the ads and analytics can store in your browser, and how to change your choice, is in the cookie policy.
Contact
Use the contact form or write to support@momusa.tech. It is the Momusa support mailbox, and we read it ourselves. The contact page also lists what to include so we can help without a round of questions.
